BoltKVM setup and troubleshooting.

Check that both Macs show the other as a trusted device, that both apps are running, and that the displays are arranged so the edges actually touch in BoltKVM. If the crossing is ignored, drag the displays to re-establish the contact edge, then try again.

Make sure both Macs are on the same local network and the app has Local Network permission (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network). If your router blocks device discovery, pair once by manual address; after that BoltKVM remembers the device.

Keyboard input follows the active pointer destination. If the two disagree, use physical input on the target Mac, disconnect the session, and reconnect before trying the edge again.

Crossing a display edge is not a general full-sleep wake command. Use Reconnect. A wake attempt also depends on the target Mac's network-wake setting, current network path, and saved wake address. BoltKVM cannot wake a Mac that is shut down.

No. File transfer is an explicit action and currently sends one regular file at a time. It does not support drag-and-drop, folders, or file batches.
